The fridge has an ice compartment and thermostat and it’s compact size means it takes very little power to run, averaging less than 0.8 amps an hour (that’s less than 12 watts). With the addition of low power cooling, your trips away can be that much easier and convenient. The pod comes pre-wired with just 2 wires, which you connect to a suitable 12V supply.  We recommend wiring all our Pod conversion units to a 110Ah leisure battery for optimal performance, which usually provides around 3 days of power for your fridge. The addition of a solar panel installation would allow the fridge to run for several weeks at at a time.
