Description One of our favourite designs in our soapstone home collection, this is a beautiful piece of soapstone. The Maasai man dressed in traditional red clothing stands out from the natural white of the soapstone. It measures approximately 4 inches across. It is a decorative dish but can be used for dry snacks. It can also be used to hold t-light candles, or keep your treasures safe such as your rings, earrings. It has been expertly carved from one piece of white soapstone, in Kisii, Western Kenya by a self help group. Beeswax or clear polish can be used to protect the stone, a care instruction card is included as well as a card with images and information on the producer groups we work with. Please allow for small variations due to this being carved from stone and hand made, though we ensure these are minimal.
