Description Effect: The performer introduces a small tray with five balls and five small drawstring bags. Four of the balls are white and one is black. All balls are the same size and weight. The performer hands the tray to a spectator and asks them to place one ball into each bag and then mix up the bags so no one knows the location of the black ball. All this is done while the performer’s back is turned or is out of the room. Once the performer is told that all the balls have been placed into a bag and mixed up, he turns around or returns to the room. Now, the spectator holding the tray with the balls and bags, is asked to hand the performer one bag at a time. After some concentration and through some psychic powers or X-ray vision the magician is able to discern which bag contains the black ball. This is a one-person effect. No secret helpers are used.
